Al Qadsiah draw 1-1 with Pakhtakor in AFC Champions League Elite

Al Qadsiah drew against Pakhtakor in the final moments, ending their match 1-1 on Monday at Pakhtakor Stadium in Tashkent, in the second round of the AFC Champions League Elite 2026-2027.

Tijani Reinders opened the scoring for Al Qadsiah in the 35th minute, giving his team the advantage, before Dustonbek Khandamov equalized for the hosts from a penalty in the 89th minute.

Al Qadsiah have increased their tally to four points after starting their continental campaign with a 2-1 victory over Al Wasl. Meanwhile, Pakhtakor have reached two points following their previous draw with Al Ahly FC by the same scoreline.

Pakhtakor has drawn for the second time against Saudi Arabian clubs, finishing 1-1, repeating the result they achieved against Al Ahly FC. The Uzbek team continues to collect points without securing a victory in their last two matches.

The league stage will see each team play eight matches, with the top eight teams in each region qualifying for the Round of 16 scheduled for March 2027. Saudi Arabia will host the rounds from the quarter-finals to the final in a centralized format.
