Olympique Marseille ends losing streak narrowly and leaves relegation zone

Olympique Marseille returned to winning ways, defeating their hosts Troyes 2-0 in the match that took place in the French league, putting an end to their negative run and securing an important victory in their campaign in the competition.

Olympique Marseille entered the match under considerable pressure, having suffered a rocky start to the season that placed them in 17th position. They needed to achieve a positive result to improve their standing in the table and regain confidence.

Amine Harit opened the scoring for Olympique Marseille, before Algerian Himad Abdelli secured the victory by adding a second goal from a penalty in the dying seconds of stoppage time, giving his team three valuable points away from home.

With this victory, Olympique Marseille has moved up to 6 points, advancing to 13th place in the French league table, benefiting from their win over Troyes, in a step they hope will be the beginning of correcting their course and distancing themselves from the danger zones.
