Postecoglou: Al Nassr faces injury challenges and fixture congestion

Australian coach Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Al Nassr is facing tough challenges due to injuries and the pressure of matches across various competitions, emphasizing that the players are giving their utmost effort despite the current circumstances.

Al Nassr are set to face Uzbek side Neftchi tomorrow, Monday, at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, in the second round of the AFC Champions League Elite West Zone for the 2026-2027 season.

Postecoglou has stated that all players will have opportunities to participate in the upcoming period due to a busy match schedule and the team's need to utilize as many of its members as possible.

The coach revealed that Ayman Yahya is struggling with an injury, acknowledging the limited options available to him, which makes it more difficult to deal with the consecutive challenges awaiting the team.

Postecoglou praised João Félix's potential, highlighting that the player can participate in multiple positions. He added that Al Nassr are working hard, but maintaining a high level of performance remains difficult amid current challenges.
