Hani Abou Rida meets with Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan
The Egyptian Football Association's headquarters witnessed a meeting today that included the administrative and technical leadership of Egyptian football. The Chairman of the Board, Engineer Hossam Hassan, and his deputy Khaled El-Darendly met with the head coach of the national team Hossam Hassan and the team manager Ibrahim Hassan. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Al-Amin, the Secretary General of the Association.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance stability and cohesion within the Egyptian national team system, and to continue building on the successes achieved during the past period, which contributes to providing the best environment for the coaching staff and players in preparation for the upcoming challenges.
In the context of the meeting, the president of the federation confirmed the commitment to a sustainable institutional approach focused on continuous support for all national teams, emphasizing the importance of building bridges of cooperation and joint coordination with local clubs to unify visions and efforts, in a way that serves the development of the game and meets the aspirations of Egyptian fans for achieving more successes.
These administrative moves come after a phase of tension and differing opinions between the Hassan twins and the officials of the Egyptian Football Association, which surfaced following reservations expressed by Khaled El-Darandly regarding the duo's bypassing of work protocols within the Football Association with the Egypt national team during the Pharaohs' recent trip to South Sudan.
