Guéiri, Kondogbia and Ndadi return to Olympique Marseille squad ahead of Troyes clash
Olympique Marseille have announced their squad to face Troyes on Sunday evening in the sixth round of Ligue 1, with positive news for the coaching staff as several players return after recovering from injuries.
The squad sees the return of Algerian striker Amine Gouiri, who suffered from thigh pain after participating with his national team during the international break, alongside midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, who has been absent since sustaining a thigh injury in late August.
Olympique Marseille has welcomed back midfielder Tochukwu Ndadi after his recovery from a knee injury sustained at the beginning of September, providing an additional boost to Marseille's options in midfield as the team seeks to regain its balance following a difficult start to the season, currently sitting in seventeenth place in the standings ahead of this round.
In contrast, Timothy Weah will miss the match due to suspension, while the team will also be without Danish player Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, who is suffering from a thigh injury sustained during his participation with his national team against Wales. He is expected to be sidelined for about two weeks.
Canadian defender Derek Cornelius continues to be sidelined due to a serious hip injury sustained during training, with expectations that his absence could extend until 2027.
