En-Nesyri reveals reason for not celebrating after scoring against Bono
Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri, the striker for Al-Ittihad, has revealed the reason behind his decision not to celebrate his goal against Al-Hilal during the classic match that ended with the leader winning 3-2, as part of the eighth round of the Roshn Saudi League.
Youssef En-Nesyri said in media statements: "It is difficult for me to celebrate in front of Yassine Bounou, as he is my brother and a person dear to my heart," referring to the strong bond that has united them for many years.
The Al-Ittihad striker explained that his relationship with Bono has extended through shared periods with the Moroccan national team and the Spanish club Sevilla, wishing his compatriot good luck in his upcoming journey with Al-Hilal.
Bono praised En-Nesyri's stance, affirming that the Al-Ittihad striker is like his younger brother. He also took the time to congratulate him on the level he showed during the clásico.
Al Hilal's goalkeeper stated that En-Nesyri showed a strong performance against his team, highlighting the mutual respect between the players despite the rivalry in one of the standout matches of the round.
Bono has also spoken about Al Hilal's ambitions for the current season, pointing out that the AFC Champions League is one of their priorities. Meanwhile, En-Nesyri praised the strength of the Saudi league, confirming that the competition is becoming more challenging with consecutive matches.
