Juventus moves to renew contracts of 3 players and plans to avoid repeating Vlahović scenario

Juventus are looking to continue their efforts to renew player contracts, having started to arrange important contractual matters within the team, with the aim of maintaining their key pillars and providing technical stability for coach Luciano Spalletti, amid the management's desire to avoid repeating past mistakes.

Tuttosport reports that renewing Nico González's contract is part of the club's plan, which is preparing to move to secure the futures of three other players: Douglas Luiz, Francisco Conceição, and Pierre Kalulu, as part of its efforts to retain the key elements relied upon by the team.

These moves are part of a policy aimed at achieving financial balance, after Juventus has suffered in recent years from rising salaries of some players, before finding itself forced to look for solutions to get rid of them, whether through loans or allowing them to leave for free, which the management seeks to avoid in the future.

The report indicated that the club wants to avoid a repeat of the Dusan Vlahovic scenario, who regained his form before leaving for free to Besiktas, in an example that reflects Juventus' fears of losing players they have invested in without achieving a suitable financial return.

The report also discussed Douglas Luiz's situation, highlighting Spalletti's need to work with him for a while to start grasping his tactical ideas, with positive signs emerging at the beginning of the season, although it is still early to judge the coach's success in restoring the Brazilian player's best form.

Juventus hopes that contract renewals will protect its sporting and economic interests, and provide Spalletti with the necessary stability to build a competitive team, away from the contractual crises that could hinder his plans in the upcoming seasons.
