AS Roma target Kvaratskhelia in January as Frosinone demand €25 million

Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" has revealed that AS Roma have placed Georgian Giorgi Kvaratskhelia, a player from Frosinone, among their potential targets during the upcoming winter transfer window, as coach Gian Piero Gasperini seeks to strengthen the team's attacking options.

According to the report, Kvirinadze has moved ahead of Jamie Bino Gittens in Gian Piero Gasperini's list of targets, reflecting AS Roma's interest in signing the young player ahead of the second half of the season.

However, completing the deal will not be easy, as Frosinone are demanding at least €25 million for the transfer of their player, which could pose a major obstacle for AS Roma's move in January.

Negotiations are expected to become clearer as the winter transfer window approaches, with AS Roma needing to assess their attacking options and their readiness to meet Frosinone's financial demands.

Kverinadze, 23 years old, excels at playing on the left flank, with the ability to cut inside and dribble in one-on-one situations, which are qualities that align with Gasperini's tactical requirements.

His impressive start to the season has increased interest in his services, while Jimi Benno Gittens remains one of the options that could come back into focus later.
