FC Barcelona has begun studying the possibility of listening to offers for their Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, despite his joining the Catalan team during the last summer transfer window, amid interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

According to Spanish media reports, FC Barcelona's management does not mind exploring the future of the player if a suitable financial offer arrives, as several clubs are monitoring the situation of the 29-year-old forward.

The signing of Jesus was one of the biggest surprises of last summer's transfer window, as the Brazilian forward was not among FC Barcelona's main targets at the start of the transfer period. However, sporting director Deco took advantage of his appearance among the options available in the final days of the market.

The deal came after FC Barcelona excluded several names to bolster their attack, including Julián Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Lautaro Martínez, and Serhou Guirassy, at a time when the chances of not signing a pure striker were quite strong.

Despite being relied upon from the bench in most matches, Gabriel Jesus has managed to leave a good impression since his first appearance in the FC Barcelona shirt, having scored two goals during his initial appearances with the team.

The Brazilian forward has received praise from the coaching staff led by German Hansi Flick, who expressed satisfaction with his performance, while the player quickly managed to win the trust of the club's fans.

Jesus described playing in the FC Barcelona shirt and appearing at Camp Nou as a dream come true, confirming his readiness to fulfill the role requested of him by Flick.

According to the platform "Sportagon", citing "Globo Esporte", Juan Laporta, the president of FC Barcelona, and Deco are open to studying a lucrative offer to sign Gabriel Jesus, as long as it includes a financial figure that the club's management deems appropriate for agreeing to his departure.

FC Barcelona have yet to make a final decision regarding the player's future, with several clubs, particularly from the Saudi Pro League, monitoring his situation in preparation for a potential move to secure his services in the upcoming period.

If the deal goes through, the sale of Jesús could give Barcelona the chance to recoup their investment while also potentially generating additional revenue, as the transfer fee was around €14 million, including the fixed amount and add-ons.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona continues to study options to bolster their attacking line for the future, with names like Julián Alvarez and Haaland remaining on the list of potential options, awaiting the financial and sporting circumstances that the club will face.

Gabriel Jesus was linked with a move to several Saudi Pro League clubs during the last summer transfer window, including Al Ahly FC and Al Nassr, before ultimately ending up at FC Barcelona.
