Frosinone moves to renew Farès Ghedjemis' contract until 2030
Frosinone have started negotiations to extend the contract of Algerian winger Farès Ghedjemis, as the management aims to retain the player following interest from several European clubs during the summer transfer window.
Farès Ghedjemis' current contract with Frosinone runs until June 2028, but the club is working to extend it for additional years with a salary increase. There is a trend for the new contract to reach 2030 or 2031.
Frosinone's move comes after the club rejected offers from Beşiktaş and AS Monaco to sign the player during the summer, as the management insisted on keeping him as part of the team's project, especially after his significant contribution to the club's promotion to Serie A.
Farès Ghedjemis had a standout season with Frosinone, scoring 15 goals and providing 3 assists during the team's journey back to Serie A, which made him the focus of several European clubs.
