Hassan Kadesh ruled out of Al-Hilal clash due to injury
Hassan Kadesh, the defender of Al-Ittihad, is confirmed to be absent for the anticipated match against Al-Hilal after it was decided that he would undergo surgery on his thigh muscles on October 9 in Turku, Finland.
The federation announced via its official account on the 'X' platform that Kadesh will undergo surgery under the supervision of Professor Lassi Leimpainen, a specialist in muscle and tendon surgeries.
The decision for surgical intervention came after a series of examinations conducted by the player at the club and the international medical center, along with consultations with several doctors and specialists regarding his injury.
Medical examinations have revealed that Hassan Kadesh has sustained an injury to his left rectus femoris muscle, which he suffered during his participation with the Saudi national team against Oman in the Gulf Cup on September 26.
Ittihad face a strong match against Al-Hilal next Saturday at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, in the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League, missing their injured defender.
