Postecoglou confirms Ronaldo is ready for the Diriyah clash
Australian manager Ang Postecoglou has clarified Cristiano Ronaldo's status ahead of the match against Al-Dhariyah, confirming the team's captain is ready to participate in the anticipated encounter in the 8th round of the Saudi Pro League.
Ange Postecoglou said at the press conference: "Ronaldo has returned in good shape, and he is mentally and physically ready, and that is the most important thing for us," while refusing to comment on his recent issue with Jorge Jesus.
Al Nassr's coach explained that the international break allowed the team to benefit from the training camp, noting that two weeks of preparations provided the players with an important opportunity to get ready despite the absence of several internationals.
Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Portuguese João Félix participated in team training, while the coaching staff awaits the return of the other Saudi international players to complete the squad ahead of the match.
Al Nassr's coach has warned about the danger of Al Diriyah, emphasizing that they have good players and that the match will not be easy, especially after the international break that preceded the resumption of the Saudi Pro League.
