McTominay gets the green light and returns to SSC Napoli training
SSC Napoli have received an important boost ahead of the resumption of their competitions, as midfielder Scott McTominay has received medical clearance to return to group training after successfully passing the necessary medical examinations.
Scott McTominay underwent surgery in early September to treat a minor and benign heart rhythm disorder, before undergoing further tests to ensure his health and readiness to return to sporting activity.
After receiving medical clearance, the Scottish midfielder is now able to rejoin SSC Napoli's training sessions, getting one step closer to returning to matches and becoming available for manager Massimiliano Allegri in the near future.
Scott McTominay will miss participation with SSC Napoli since August 30, as the team prepares to host Frosinone on Saturday in Serie A.
Allegri's decision on Scott McTominay's potential call-up for the next match will depend on his physical readiness and performance after returning to team training, especially following his recent absence.
