Ibrahima Konaté, the 16-year-old FC Barcelona player, has returned to team training after recovering from a left ankle ligament injury, thus completing the six-week absence set by the club's medical staff.

Tonkara has suffered an injury during a friendly match in Villanova, following a strong challenge that has kept him out of action. This comes after he had made a notable impression during the pre-season, participating fully in the preparation period for the season with the first team under the management of Hansi Flick.

The young midfielder played 45 minutes against Birmingham and completed the match against Udinese in the Friendlies that also featured FC Barcelona against Nottingham Forest, before participating in the final minutes against Basel. He missed the match against Nottingham Forest and the FIFA World Cup match.

Despite returning to training, the coaching staff prefers not to rush his involvement, as he is expected to miss the match against SD Logroñés this week. His potential official return is expected to be against Utibo in two rounds, when FC Barcelona hosts Athletic. Tonkara will wear the number 10 shirt, indicating his status within the club.

The player is not in a hurry to return, especially with the FIFA World Cup under 17 approaching, which Spain will participate in during November and December. Tonkara will be an important addition to FC Barcelona Atlètic, who are currently leading their group in the Spanish Segunda División unbeaten, having achieved four victories and one draw.
