The Norwegian Football Federation has filed two new complaints with FIFA today, Tuesday, specifically targeting the management style of president Gianni Infantino and several officials of the organization.

The first complaint requested FIFA's ethics committee to investigate the conduct of Infantino and other officials to ascertain any potential violations of the ethical regulations and codes of conduct established by the international federation.

The second complaint was directed to the Audit and Compliance Committee, requesting verification of compliance with governance rules and financial and internal controls, along with the procedures adopted in the decision-making process within FIFA.

Norway, led by Lise Klaveness, is spearheading a growing movement against Gianni Infantino's administration, focusing on three main issues: the awarding of the peace prize to US President Donald Trump by FIFA last December, the lifting of the suspension of Folarin Balogun during the World Cup, and the "FIFA Forward Enterprise" project, which was later abandoned following widespread objections.

The Norwegian Football Federation sees these three issues as reflecting a single problem: "FIFA's abuse of its powers and influence," at a time when Gianni Infantino is facing a governance crisis and preparing to run for re-election in the upcoming elections scheduled for March.
