McTominay nears return, Tuesday tests to determine his appearance with SSC Napoli
SSC Napoli has received positive news regarding the return of midfielder Scott McTominay to the pitch, as the player is currently continuing his treatment and rehabilitation program at Castelvolturno, having started the first phase of recovery in England.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Scott McTominay has been working at Castel Volturno for nearly 20 days, with continuous monitoring from SSC Napoli's coaching and medical staff in preparation for receiving the green light to fully resume competitive activity.
The player will undergo medical examinations and fitness tests on Tuesday, October 6, which is an important step in determining his readiness and the date he can return to participate with the team.
Massimiliano Allegri is also keeping an eye on Scott McTominay's condition, hoping to receive positive news regarding the player and the possibility of including him in SSC Napoli's squad for the upcoming match against Frosinone, if his physical condition allows it.
SSC Napoli are awaiting the results of Tuesday's tests before making a final decision on the player's return, especially as the club does not want to rush his involvement before ensuring he is fully fit to compete.
