Klopp: We will play November matches with a shortened squad, the door is open for everyone
Jürgen Klopp, the head coach of Germany, has announced his decision regarding the squad for the upcoming international break in November, following the goalless draw against Greece at the end of the current break.
Klopp said: "We will analyze the last two weeks very calmly, and after that, we will have two international matches again in five weeks with a shortened list, and of course, we will not travel there with 44 players."
Klopp has called up 44 players during the current break, dividing them into two squads. The first group played matches against the Netherlands and Greece, while the second group participated in encounters with Serbia and Greece.
Regarding the possibility of calling up players from the Germany U21 team, Klopp said: "I haven't watched the U21 team yet, we've only seen them briefly, and the door is open for everyone."
The German coach spoke about the outcome of his first four matches with the national team, saying: "We wanted to change some things, and we wanted to push the team forward, and I definitely saw that. We had a large number of new players in the national team over the past two weeks, and each one of them had a reason to be there. Everyone showed what they have, and this makes me very happy for the players."
Speaking about the draw against Greece, Klopp concluded his remarks by saying: "I am very happy because I know where we came from, I didn't think it was possible to deliver such a first half after just one week, I wouldn't have believed it, the players delivered an amazing football match in all aspects."
