Former Egypt national team goalkeeper coach Essam El-Hadary has placed full responsibility on goalkeeper Mostafa Shobair for the goal conceded during the friendly match against South Africa, stating that this goal was what secured victory for the opposing team in the match that took place on Sunday evening.

South Africa secured a friendly win against Egypt with a single goal, which came in the 51st minute of the match following an unsuccessful clearance by goalkeeper Mustafa Shobeir to clear the ball outside the penalty area. This defensive error was exploited by player Boso Ditjehan, who successfully dribbled past the goalkeeper and easily placed the ball into the empty net.

Essam El-Hadary stated on "On Sport": "As long as there is a striker and a defender, the goalkeeper must stay in his place and not leave his goal."

It was confirmed that Shouber left his goal at a very early time, and his decision to come out was incorrect. He pointed out: "Shouber should have gone straight to clear the ball once he came out, and he shouldn't have thought about dancing."
