De Bruyne and Højlund: Napoli's duo to reignite their brilliance

Kevin De Bruyne appears to have been reborn at the age of 35, showcasing his ability to make a difference during the international break. According to a report from "Corriere dello Sport", De Bruyne and Rasmus Højlund represent the duo that SSC Napoli should build upon in the next phase, as the team returns to serious competition.

The international break has provided SSC Napoli with positive signs, particularly with Højlund in good form and Vergara maintaining his composure. However, the standout performer was De Bruyne. The Belgian created a goal against Italy before scoring a stunning brace against Turkey, confirming that he does not appear to be a player at the end of his career, but rather ready to carry SSC Napoli on his shoulders.

Massimiliano Allegri recognizes the importance of De Bruyne, aiming to give him a more stable role as a key pivot in building the team, benefiting from his technical abilities and vast experience. The player has already made his mark at the start of the season with a goal and an assist against Genoa in the 2-0 victory, alongside his multiple roles in Allegri's system, which heavily relies on his creativity and playmaking ability.

In contrast, Rasmus Højlund has scored two goals this season, along with providing an assist during the international break against Wales, making him a natural partner for Kevin De Bruyne in SSC Napoli's rebuilding project. The team needs greater attacking contributions from all its players, having scored only seven goals since the start of the season, including two from the Danish striker, a tally that seems limited for a team with names like Højlund and De Bruyne.

The report suggests that SSC Napoli will try to regain momentum through the international versions of De Bruyne and Højlund, hoping that their return to the team translates into goals and victories, and that the duo can rediscover the synergy they displayed a year ago, leading SSC Napoli once again towards brilliance and competition.
