Mido's fiery comment on Abdelmonem's exclusion from the national team camp

Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former star of Zamalek SC, has made a fiery comment regarding the exclusion of Mohamed Abdelmonem, the defender of Nice, from the Egyptian national team's recent camp.

Egypt's national team is preparing for a friendly match against South Africa at Cairo International Stadium next Sunday, October 4.

Mido wrote on his account on the platform "X": "Mohamed Abdelmonem is the best Egyptian defender currently playing in a very strong league, Ligue 1; there should be clarification on his situation if he is excluded!!".

He added: "Why didn't he take the same action with Mohamed Salah? If the reason is his refusal and his club's refusal to play on artificial turf!!".

He continued: "The most important question is if there is a problem between the coach and a large number of players, is the coach the reason or the players? And do we help our professional players or do we kill them?".
