Samir Kamouna: Egypt national team honoured us against South Sudan
Samir Kamouna, former star of Al Ahly FC, stated that the Egypt national team delivered an honorable performance against South Sudan in the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers, noting that the victory was important given the circumstances leading up to the match.
Khamouna stated in remarks on the "Number One" program hosted by journalist Mohamed Shobana, broadcast on CBC: "Congratulations to the Egypt national team, it is an honorable performance and result, despite the events that took place in the camp before the match.. the team has honored us and this is the right start, and I hope we leave all disagreements for the sake of the Egypt national team."
He continued: "Anyone who succeeds in meeting people who talk and try to create crises for his departure, and this is what happened with Hossam Hassan."
The Egypt national team gained many benefits from the match, with Marmoush and Ibrahim Adel returning to scoring, alongside the impressive performance of Hamza Abdelkarim.
Regarding Hossam Abdel-Meguid, he said: "If Hossam Abdel-Meguid transfers to Al Ahly FC, he will be an addition to the defense, and he is a great star who honors us. I hope he joins Al Ahly FC, and this is neither a shame nor forbidden, especially since he left Zamalek SC and is currently playing professionally in Europe."
