Mohamed Elneny joins Levadiakos in a free transfer
Greek club Levadiakos has announced the signing of Egyptian Mohamed Elneny on a free transfer after the midfielder left Al-Jazira in the summer transfer window.
Mohamed Elneny joins Levadiakos in an effort to help the team improve its results, as they sit bottom of the Super League Greece after five rounds, with one point from a draw and four defeats, having not scored any goals while conceding nine.
Mohamed Elneny said in a message to the fans of his new club: "Hello everyone, I have signed with Levadiakos. I am very happy to start my career here. I hope everything goes well, and I will do my best for the team. Levadiakos fans, I will see you in the next match. I am very excited to start my journey with the club."
Mohamed Elneny, aged 34, embarks on a new chapter in his career after playing in Egypt, Switzerland, England, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates. He spent eight and a half years with Arsenal, during which he made 161 appearances and won the FA Cup in 2019.
