Palestine and Konyaspor draw 2-2 in friendlies with a message of solidarity

Palestine's national football team drew 2-2 with their Turkish hosts, Konyaspor, in the friendly match held on Wednesday evening at the Midas Konyaspor Stadium, as part of the "Palestine Day" events, under the slogan "Our home is your home."

The match was not completed, as the referee blew the final whistle in the 89th minute in a symbolic message to the souls lost in Palestine. A sign on the pitch read: "The match has been postponed until Palestine is free."

In his message, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the match reflects the brotherhood and solidarity, as well as the unity of hearts between the Turkish and Palestinian peoples. He also extended greetings to the players of the Palestine national team and the fans who attended the match.
