Wahbi calls on Morocco to focus fully against Lesotho

Morocco's coach Mohamed Wahbi has emphasized that the encounter with Lesotho requires the highest levels of focus and seriousness, stressing that the differing circumstances surrounding the match will not be an excuse for any setbacks. This comes ahead of the anticipated clash between the two national teams tomorrow, Tuesday, in Bloemfontein, South Africa, as part of the second round of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

Wahbi explained during the press conference before the match that the Moroccan national team must quickly adapt to the new circumstances after their victory in the first round, while maintaining their focus and leveraging their strengths to achieve another win. He also stressed the importance of respecting the Lesotho national team, which has shown notable development in recent years.

Regarding the readiness of the squad, the national coach revealed that all players are available except Nayef Aguerd, who the technical staff decided not to risk playing and will continue his gradual return to competition.
