Al Ahly FC's medical staff are working to expedite the rehabilitation of defender Yasser Ibrahim, aiming to ensure his physical and technical readiness for the highly anticipated clash against Zamalek SC. These intensive efforts come in response to the clear shortage the team is facing in defense, as stated by journalist Hany Hathout on his program "Modern Sports."

Hathout explained that Yasser Ibrahim suffered an ankle sprain, but he continued to play despite the injury, which led to a worsening of the condition, resulting in an additional recovery and rehabilitation period of about two weeks.

Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the head of the medical staff at Al Ahly FC, is leading an urgent treatment plan to prepare the international defender Yasser Ibrahim before the upcoming match against Zamalek on October 11. The plan includes an intensive recovery program that spans three days, aimed at accelerating Yasser Ibrahim's recovery and reducing his absence, ensuring his presence in the starting lineup to cover the defensive shortage.

He added that the interest in preparing Yasser Ibrahim comes amid the clear shortage in the centre-back position, alongside the lack of complete confidence from head coach Al-Hussein Amouta in defender Yassin Marei so far, while Hady Reyad remains among the available options for the coaching staff due to the numerical deficiency.

If Yasser Ibrahim fails to recover in time for the match, Moroccan star Achraf Dari emerges as a surprising alternative in Al Ahly FC's starting lineup to make his first appearance this season. The coaching staff is relying on the extensive international experience of the Moroccan defender and his ability to fill the defensive gap in such major encounters, according to journalist Hany Hathout.
