In a gesture to reassure his fans and supporters, the player shared a photo from inside the operating room on his official Instagram account, captioning it with the phrase 'Thank God', confirming he has passed the most critical stage and is starting his recovery journey to return quickly to the pitch.

Egypt are set to face South Sudan tomorrow, Tuesday, at Juba Stadium in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers.
