Asensio rejected 3 offers in the summer transfer window

Spanish newspaper "Marca" has revealed that Raúl Asensio, a defender for Real Madrid, rejected three big financial offers to leave the royal club during the last summer transfer window, preferring to continue at the Santiago Bernabéu.

According to the source, Chelsea and Liverpool were among the clubs that moved to secure the services of the Spanish defender, along with a Turkish club that has a large fan base and significant financial resources. However, Asensio ultimately decided to reject all offers and continue with Real Madrid.

Despite his insistence on staying with the team, Marco Asensio has not participated in any matches with Real Madrid this season so far, having been sidelined by injury, before recently returning to training and becoming ready to compete for a place in the lineup.

The Spanish defender is expected to receive more opportunities to play after the current international break, especially with Brahim Konaté sidelined due to injury and Dean Huijsen suspended.
