The decision to exclude Hassan Kadesh came after he underwent medical examinations on his thigh injury, which revealed that he requires a period of treatment and rehabilitation in the coming period.

The official account of the Saudi Arabia national team via the platform 'X' confirmed that the medical report has determined the player's situation, as it proved his inability to participate in the remaining matches for the green team in the tournament.

Hassan Kadesh left the match between Saudi Arabia and Oman on Saturday in the 63rd minute due to an injury he sustained during the game, before Jehad Thakri came on as his replacement.

Kadesh's absence is another blow for Donis ahead of the match against Iraq in the final round of the group stage, after Saudi Arabia secured qualification for the semi-finals of the Gulf Cup 27.
