FC Barcelona and Real Madrid monitor Mexico talent

Gilberto Mora, the 17-year-old talent from Club Tijuana, has caught the attention of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid after scoring his first goal for Mexico against Colombia, continuing to impress with his standout performances.

Sport reported, citing AS, that the two clubs have been monitoring Mora's development for some time, especially after his impressive performance in the World Cup, where at the age of 17 years and 259 days, he became the second youngest player in the tournament's history to start a knockout match, behind only Pelé.

Rafaela Pimenta plays an important role in his future, confirming that the player is ready to move to Europe, but his surroundings want to choose the right timing for this step.

Mora has renewed his contract with Club Tijuana until 2029, with a departure mechanism facilitating his future transfer. The player made his first-team appearance at the age of 15, then represented Mexico at 16, before continuing to shine and break new records.
