Harry Kane after England loss to Spain: On another day we would have won the match

Harry Kane, captain and forward of the England national team, spoke about his team's loss to Spain by a score of 3-2 in the first round of the UEFA Nations League, in a match that took place at Wembley Stadium.

Harry Kane said in statements to ITV Sport: "I said before that we reached good levels in the World Cup, but we were unable to deliver a full 90 minutes at the same level. Perhaps it happened again today. Nevertheless, we had some good moments, and that period was one of the best we've played in a very long time, and this is the level we know we can reach."

England captain said: "We are playing against the world champion and the European champion, and we managed to face them head-on. On another day, for sure, we would have won this match. We have to take the positives from the encounter, move past this loss, and come back to try again in a few days."

Harry Kane addressed reports regarding Manchester City and whether they have been a distraction for the England national team, concluding, "There has been discussion about it, but in the end, when we are with the England team, it represents a big positive for us, we put club football aside to some extent, and it has not been different this week."
