Jouiri to miss the rest of Algeria's camp due to injury

Amine Gouiri, the striker for Olympique Marseille, will miss the rest of Algeria's national team camp after suffering an injury during the match against Zambia in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification 2027.

The Algerian football federation has revealed that medical tests conducted on Joueri this Saturday morning showed he has a muscle injury in his left thigh, after he left the pitch injured during the match.

Based on the results of the tests, Joueri will undergo a period of rest to recover from his injury, before his absence from the rest of the current training camp for Algeria is confirmed.

Joueri is set to be released on Sunday morning, allowing him to leave the national team camp and return to Olympique Marseille to continue his treatment and rehabilitation program.
