Kevin De Bruyne has clarified his international future, indicating he will continue with Belgium after participating in the 2-0 victory over Italy on Friday evening in the UEFA Nations League, marking the first match for coach Mark van Bommel at the helm.

Kevin De Bruyne, aged 35, has played his 125th international match for Belgium, after previously raising doubts about his continuation with the national team following the FIFA World Cup 2026.

After the victory over Italy in Rome, a SSC Napoli player shared a message on his social media accounts saying: "125 international matches... and the story is not over yet! A beautiful start to a new chapter! Proud!".

Kevin De Bruyne has confirmed in recent days that he has regained his desire to continue playing for the Belgium national team, noting that the encouragement from his teammates contributed to his decision to continue. He also expressed his wish to help the new generation in the upcoming phase under the leadership of Mark van Bommel.
