Rui Pedro, the former sporting director of Al Ahly FC, has revealed details of a misunderstanding with his compatriot João Félix, confirming that the incident ended with an apology after it occurred following the match against Al Nassr last season.

Rui Pedro explained to 'A Bola' that his celebration was aimed at the opposing goalkeeper, after a crucial mistake brought Al Nassr back into the match. He noted the absence of Ibanez, Mendy, Mahrez, and Kessié, stating: "I only thought about celebrating with that young man."

Rui Pedro praised Cristiano Ronaldo, calling him the "greatest Portuguese player of all time", emphasizing that he is a symbol of Saudi football and that his presence gives Al Nassr a significant advantage due to his high standards.
