Amouta gives Tawfik Mohamed a chance in the Cairo Capital Cup

Al Ahly FC manager Al-Hussein Amouta has decided to give Tawfik Mohamed the chance to participate in the Egyptian Capital Cup, in order to prepare him for the team's upcoming matches in the Egyptian League and the CAF Confederation Cup.

The newspaper reported that Amouta is striving to prepare Tawfik Mohamed and reach the technical and physical level that qualifies him to lead the left flank, which is suffering after Youssef Belammari's injury with a torn cruciate ligament, followed by Ahmed Kouka's injury with a grade two strain in the lower left hamstring.

Al Ahly FC are set to face Petrol Asyut on Wednesday, October 7, in the first round of the Cairo Capital Cup.

Al Ahly FC will face their traditional rivals Zamalek SC on Sunday, October 11, in a match in the 6th round of the Egyptian League.
