Éder Militão received a special visit from Finnish doctor Lassi Lempainen, who performed his recent surgery, at Real Madrid's training complex in Valdebebas, where he monitored the recovery process and assessed the player's condition.

Lambainen shared a message on his social media accounts, stating: "A great day in Madrid with Éder Militão and the medical staff and performance team at Real Madrid. A full day dedicated to the return, while Éder continues to progress according to the plan after surgery due to his serious tendon injury."

The Finnish doctor added: "It was our pleasure to contribute our expertise to his return to the pitch, and the ultimate goal is to help him return safely and play again at the highest level."

He added: "Returning to the pitch is an important milestone, but returning to the highest level of performance is the goal."

Éder Militão underwent surgery on April 28, 2026, after suffering a tear in the proximal tendon of the hamstring muscle, with his absence at that time estimated to be around five months. This means that the Brazilian defender is already in the final stages of his rehabilitation program.

In recent days, Éder Militão has been seen participating in intense physical training sessions on the pitch, indicating progress in his recovery process. Current data suggests that the next step will be to gradually start working with the group.
