Rodri speaks on Manchester City case after club's conviction on 114 charges

Spanish player Rodri, from Manchester City, spoke about the issue facing the English club regarding allegations of breaching financial regulations of the Premier League, coinciding with a shocking development in the case.

Reports have revealed that Manchester City have been found guilty of 114 charges out of 115, according to sources familiar with the case.

Rodri spoke at a press conference ahead of the match against England in the Nations League: "We went through a very similar process in 2020. There were almost identical legal proceedings, but the party that made the accusations was different."

He added: "Since the club has always conveyed a sense of reassurance to us, confirming that we would come out without condemnation, and indeed the club emerged innocent."
