Inter posts financial surplus for the second consecutive year
Inter have officially approved the financial budget project for the 2025-2026 season, after finishing the financial year with a positive result for the second consecutive season, achieving a net profit of €22.7 million.
Inter recorded revenues of €518 million, the second highest in the club's history, behind the record figure of €567 million set in the previous season, which was boosted by exceptional earnings from participation in the FIFA Club World Cup and reaching the final of the UEFA Champions League.
The profits came despite a decline in revenue compared to last season, as the club successfully reduced production costs by around 20 million euros, or 4%, alongside a 7% increase in commercial revenue, primarily driven by growth in official merchandise sales, as well as improved matchday revenues.
Player sales revenue increased by approximately €11 million, while player amortization and valuation costs decreased by about €8 million. Additionally, financial burdens dropped by around 50% following debt refinancing, contributing to an improved final budget result.
The new results have contributed to Inter's net assets returning to positive territory with a value of €10.4 million, after recording a deficit of around €12 million at the end of the 2024-2025 budget. The budget proposal will be presented to the shareholders' general assembly for final approval, which is expected to be held before mid-October.
