Mostafa Saad: I rushed to demand leaving Al Ahly FC

Mostafa Saad Messi, star of Zed FC, has admitted he rushed his departure from Al Ahly FC a few seasons ago. He confirmed his desire to return to the Red Devils.

Mostafa Saad spoke to ON Sport, saying: "When I signed with Al Ahly FC, Pitso Mosimane was the coach, but he left when the deal was completed, and Marcel Koller was brought in."

He added: "Marcel Koller told me that I am still a young player and that I did not attend the preparation period with him, which caused me a bit of frustration, especially since I am waiting for another conversation after my participation in the Africa U-23 Championship."

He added: "Koller confirmed to me that I need about a month to be ready, and after that, I started playing for a limited number of minutes, after having been a starter with Cleopatra FC."

He continued: "During the first 3 months, I met with Koller about 4 or 5 times, and I would ask him why I wasn't participating in the matches? But I admit that I rushed in demanding to leave Al Ahly FC."

Mostafa Saad has stated: "What is my position if Al Ahly FC asks to sign me again? Al Ahly FC is a very big team.. I would be lying if I said I would refuse that."
