Absences for the Green against Oman in Gulf 27

The Saudi national team faces Oman on Saturday in the second round of the group stage of the Gulf Cup 'Gulf 27' in Jeddah, with several key players missing.

The Green will miss the services of Nawaf Al-Aqidi and Mohammed Al-Qahtani, after it was confirmed that they are not fit to participate, while their absence continues to be a concern for Greek coach Georgios Donis in the upcoming match.

Musab Al-Juwayr will also miss the Saudi national team after being excluded from the squad days before the tournament for disciplinary reasons, depriving the Green of one of its players during the Gulf Cup 27.

The Saudi national team opened their campaign in the tournament with a win against Kuwait, scoring one goal without reply, to collect their first three points and begin the competition in Group A strongly.

In contrast, Oman earned one point from their first match against Iraq, which ended in a 1-1 draw, and both sides are looking for a result that serves their objectives in the second round.
