Van Bommel: Lukaku needs more time

Mark van Bommel, the head coach of Belgium, spoke about Fenerbahçe striker Romelu Lukaku's situation ahead of the match against Italy in the UEFA Nations League.

Van Bommel said about the Belgian striker: "Lukaku has scored many goals here, but that doesn't automatically mean he should start. He needs more time."

The coach added: "He has had few minutes in some matches with Fenerbahçe. He will return, and I am not worried about him, and he will get his chance to play."

Belgium are set to face Italy this evening in their opening match of Group A in the UEFA Nations League.
