Tottenham lowers demands to sell Richarlison in January

Tottenham are preparing to end Richarlison's time with the team, as the Brazilian forward has fallen out of favour with coach Roberto De Zerbi. There are expectations that the asking price for his sale will be reduced during January.

CaughtOffside reports via Football Insider that Tottenham are prepared to study offers ranging from £15 million to £20 million, after previously asking for around £35 million during the summer.

This comes after Richarlison was excluded from Tottenham's Premier League squad, alongside not being in De Zerbi's plans for the League Cup, while a summer attempt to return to Everton failed. The club also rejected an unofficial offer from Trabzonspor worth around £20 million.

Despite the player's contract still being in effect, his absence from matches and desire to leave have weakened Tottenham's negotiating position, especially since Richarlison was the team's top scorer in the Premier League last season with 11 goals in 32 matches.

January seems to be the closest date to determine Richarlison's future, but Tottenham will need to find a club that agrees to their financial demands, as well as reach an agreement with the player regarding his personal terms.
