Farag Amer defends El Shenawy, Al Ahly's goalkeeper

Former Smouha SC president Farag Amer has defended Mohamed El Shenawy, the goalkeeper for Al Ahly FC and the Egypt national team, praising the role he has played with both the national team and the red club.

Aamer stated on his official Facebook account that no one can deny the significant contributions made by Mohamed El Shenawy, whether in his international career with Mali or in guarding the goal of Al Ahly FC in various competitions.

The former president of Smouha SC highlighted the noble stance of the international goalkeeper and his sacrifice to remain within the walls of Al Ahly FC, reminding fans of his rejection of a huge offer to move to the Saudi Pro League.

Al Ahly FC will face Petrol Asyut on Wednesday, October 7, in the first round of the Cairo Capital Cup.
