Bayern Munich set sights on Dani Olmo in January

Dani Olmo, a player for FC Barcelona, has once again entered the radar of top European clubs, as reports have revealed a potential move from Bayern Munich to sign him during the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to "Sky Sports", Bayern Munich have included the 28-year-old Spanish international among their options to bolster their attacking line, with the possibility of moving to sign him in January.

Bayern Munich's interest in Dani Olmo dates back to his time at RB Leipzig, where he spent four seasons and caught the attention of the club's officials before returning to FC Barcelona in the summer of 2024.

Bayern's potential move is linked to the future of Jamal Musiala and Mikael Oliseh, given the unstable situation of the former and interest from other clubs in the latter. The departure of either player could prompt the Bavarian club to act for Olmo. However, there are currently no official negotiations or offers made to FC Barcelona, as Bayern is exploring the possibility of the transfer for the winter window.

Dani Olmo joined FC Barcelona in 2024 for around €55 million, with his contract running until 2030. Since returning to Barcelona, the player has scored 20 goals and provided 20 assists in 96 matches, while participating in all seven of the team's LaLiga games this season, contributing three assists, despite starting only two matches.

Sky Sports values Dani Olmo at around €70 million, complicating his departure from FC Barcelona, especially as the club currently has no plans to part with the player.
