Bencharki chooses Hakimi as the best in Moroccan football history

Achraf Bencharki, the winger for Al Ahly FC, has chosen his compatriot Achraf Hakimi as the best player in the history of Moroccan football, surpassing several prominent names that have made history for the 'Atlas Lions'.

Bencharki's selection came in response to a question about who he considers the best player in Morocco's history, where he decisively chose Achraf Hakimi, surpassing notable names including Mustafa Hajji, Hakim Ziyech, and Salah Eddine Bessir.

This selection comes in light of the status that Hakimi enjoys, as he remains among the candidates for the Ballon d'Or for the best player this year.

The Moroccan full-back faces competition from some of the world's top football stars, including his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Ousmane Dembélé, as well as Lamine Yamal, the Barcelona winger, and Kylian Mbappé, the Real Madrid forward.
