Rodri reveals the secret behind FC Barcelona's strength with Flick

Rodri has revealed surprising details from his early days at FC Barcelona, pointing out a significant difference between the styles of Hansi Flick and Pep Guardiola, despite having previously worked under the Spanish coach.

Rodri has stated in press remarks while with the Spanish national team: "Are Guardiola and Flick similar? No, Pep Guardiola and Flick are not similar at all."

"When I arrived at FC Barcelona, I thought I would enter the philosophy of rondo and possession, but the truth is that during the first four days they physically exhausted me like crazy, to the point that I said to myself: where have I come to?"

FC Barcelona player explained that his start with the team involved intense physical training and rigorous gym sessions, noting that he felt the coaching staff wanted to impose discipline and control from the early days.

He concluded: "Intense physical training and gyms have started, and many things. I think they wanted to impose their control over me a bit there, because it wasn't normal, but above all, there was discipline."
