Australian coach Ange Postecoglou has promoted 7 players from the under-21 team to compensate for the significant absences affecting Al Nassr during the international break.

The Australian coach's decision comes as 18 players are absent from Al Nassr's training, due to international commitments with their national teams and various treatment and rehabilitation programs that several team members are undergoing at the club's clinic.

The list of promoted players includes goalkeepers Khalid Al-Dosari and Sultan Al-Maas, along with Youssef Al-Tahan, Abdul Rahman Al-Anzi, Saad Haqwi, Bassam Hazzazi, and Awad Aman, who will participate in the first team's training.

Eight players are absent due to international commitments, including five Saudis: Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Nawaf Boushal, Abdulilah Al-Amri, Abdullah Al-Hamdan, and Abdullah Al-Khaibari.

Three foreign professionals will miss the match for Al Nassr due to their call-ups to their national teams, including Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, his compatriot João Félix, and Iraqi Haydeer Abdulkareem.

Al Nassr's clinic includes 10 players undergoing treatment and rehabilitation programs, according to what was published by the club's official account on the platform 'X', amid ongoing absences during the current break.

The injury list includes Kingsley Coman, Saad Al-Nasser, Ayman Yahya, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Rakan Al-Ghamdi, Salem Al-Najdi, Mohammed Murjan, Raghid Al-Najjar, Mubarak Al-Bouainain, and Sultan Al-Ghannam.

This numerical shortage has led Postecoglou to rely on U21 team members to ensure training continues and to make the most of the break in preparing the available players.

Al Nassr are set to resume their campaign in the Saudi Pro League against Al-Dhariyah on October 9 at Al Awal Park, as part of the eighth round of the competition.

The coaching staff is looking forward to the gradual return of injured and international players, aiming to complete Al Nassr's squad and regain as much strength as possible before the resumption of official competitions.
