Rescheduled date and venue for Zamalek vs ZED match in Egypt Capital Cup

The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association has decided to change the date and venue of Zamalek SC's match against Zed in the Cairo Capital Cup, due to the conclusion of the Egypt national team's camp on October 4, 2026, instead of the previously scheduled date of October 6, 2026.

The league has informed Zamalek SC and Zed FC that their match will take place on Wednesday, October 7, instead of October 8, at El Mokawloon SC Stadium, instead of Cairo International Stadium.

Zamalek have resumed their training on the evening of last Tuesday at the auxiliary pitch of the Defense Ministry Stadium, in preparation for their upcoming match against ZED, after the players were given a 5-day break following their victory over Ghazl El Mahalla by a goal to nil in the fifth round of the Premier League.

Egypt's national team is preparing to play two matches in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification, where the Pharaohs will face Angola tomorrow, Friday, in the first round, and then the national team will meet South Sudan on Tuesday, September 29.

Egypt will face South Africa on Sunday, October 4, in a Friendlies.
