Ugandan Kitarra coach talks about upcoming Al Ahly clash

Kyetara's coach, Waswa Bosa, spoke about his team's upcoming match against Al Ahly in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Al Ahly will face Ugandan side Kitarra in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, with the first leg taking place on October 17, and the second leg on the 25th of the same month.

Kyetara will host Al Ahly first at the Huima Stadium in Uganda before the return match at Cairo Stadium.

Wasswa Bossa stated in remarks reported by the Ugandan newspaper Monitor: "This gives us as coaches an opportunity to assess ourselves against some of the best teams on the continent.. We will need to prepare adequately for that encounter, conducting thorough research, and trying to be competitive."

Dio Kazouzi, the president of Kitarah, confirmed that his team will seek to replicate what Kambala City did eight years ago when they defeated Al Ahly in Uganda during the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

Dio Kasouzi stated in remarks reported by the same newspaper: "Kampala City has previously defeated Al Ahly in Kampala a few years ago.. We want to beat them in Hoima now."
