Moroccan Football Federation reveals referees for first round of the professional league

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has announced the list of referees assigned to officiate the matches of the first round of the professional league, which will take place on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, featuring several of the top on-field referees and the Video Assistant Referee technology.

The matches of the round will kick off on Thursday, September 24, with a clash between Union Touarga Sportif and Ittihad Tanger at 20:00, officiated by referee Azeddine Belfaid, assisted by Saleh Boujmâa and Aziz Bounouala, while Zouhair Benrahniya will take on the role of fourth official.

In the VAR room, Nabil Benrqia will be the VAR referee, assisted by Abdel Haq Moustahfir and Abdel Ghafour Kheidar.

The matches of the round continue on Saturday, September 26, with Union Touarga Sportif facing Fath Union Sport at 16:00, led by referee Mustafa Kachaf, assisted by Ashraf Rihan and Mohamed Qasimi. Hamza Stali will serve as the fourth official, while Slimane Al-Ateifi will manage the VAR room with the assistance of Mohamed Farah and Idris Zain.

At 18:00, Difaâ El Jadida face their guests, Kénitra, with referee Mohsen Souardi officiating, assisted by Zin Alabdeen Ben Baba and Imad Rawa. Taha Sryar will serve as the fourth official. Ahmed Adrdour will be in charge of VAR, assisted by Issam Al Attar and Younes Al Aoudini.

The match between Wydad Casablanca and Wydad Temara, scheduled for 20:00, will be officiated by referee Amin El Mahtawi, assisted by Idriss Ait Jilal and Ismail Belmaknassi, while Yassine Bekari will serve as the fourth official. Said Boujidi will take on the role of VAR referee, assisted by Mohamed Marwan and Sharaf Razine.

The matches of the round will conclude on Sunday, September 27, with three encounters, starting with the clash between Moghreb Atlético Tétouan and RS Berkane at 16:00, officiated by referee Mohamed El Houidri, assisted by Rashid Laouazati and Hicham Tijani, while Osama Baqdouri will serve as the fourth official. In the VAR room, Jamal Al-Basri will take charge with the assistance of Bouazza Ikken and Adam Shajii.

At 18:00, MAS Fes will meet RS Zemamra, with the task of officiating the match assigned to referee Hicham Tamsamani, assisted by Anas Ghamam and Amin Dahani, while Yassine El Gouzlani will serve as the fourth official. Ayoub Sharhabil will manage the video technology with the assistance of Yahya Bahshah and Ridouane Boudlal.

The round concludes with the match between Kawkab Marrakech and Hassania dAgadir at 20:00, officiated by referee Mohamed Jamalawi, assisted by Yassine Quba and Mohamed Al-Baqrawi, while Adel Ben Lghwailia will serve as the fourth official. Yassine Bouslim will be the VAR referee, assisted by Zakaria Bouchtawi and Mohamed Al-Tunisi.
