Mohamed Salah: We managed to make the Egyptian people happy and I hope this continues

Mohamed Salah, star of Trabzonspor and the Egyptian national team, has confirmed that the Pharaohs have top-level players and hopes they can make Egyptian fans happy. This statement came during a training session attended by Youth and Sports Minister Jawhar Nabil on Wednesday evening, as the team prepares for their matches against Angola and South Sudan in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification.

Egypt will face Angola on September 25, before visiting South Sudan on the 29th, as part of the first two rounds of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification for the 2027 finals.

Mohamed Salah has confirmed that the national team players are looking to build on what has been achieved in the past period, stating: "We will work on building on what has been achieved recently, we are progressing in a remarkable way."

The captain of the Pharaohs added: "We managed to bring joy to the Egyptian people, and I hope this state continues for as long as possible. We have players at the highest level, and we can achieve everything we dream of, making the Egyptian fans proud of us. God willing, the future will be better."

Mohamed Salah concluded his messages by emphasizing the importance of fan support, stating: "The support of the Egyptian people always makes a difference for us, and we are happy with the current situation we have reached, and we hope to make you happy in the coming period."
